KICKOFF MEETING

Eighty-one people attended a kickoff meeting to create the Community for Conscious Aging (CCA) at The Jung Center. Former Jung Center director and Houston’s beloved Jim Hollis made a presentation by video link from Washington D.C.; then ideas for what a community might look like were presented. The group divided into small discussion groups for feedback about what the attendees would like this community to become. You can see the ideas which came forth by clicking Activities and Topics. Volunteers to help create and organize the community signed up.
