Michael Holland served in the U.S Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1979. After working for a chain of hardware stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, he attended Texas Southern University Law School and graduated in 1988 with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree. He started his Houston-based solo legal practice in 1992. He specializes in Elder Law and is a member of NAELA, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. The focus of Holland's practice is helping individuals and families with all aspects of estate planning. He also helps clients navigate through the complexities of Medicaid and Miller Trusts in order to obtain help from Medicaid for paying the high costs of nursing home care. In his spare time, he and his wife enjoy riding their Paso Fino horses.
